Managers & Supervisors Awareness Course

This one day course has been developed, by an ITSSAR category 4 Tutor, for those who have responsibility for forklift truck operations within the workplace.

Although managers and supervisors of forklift truck activities do not themselves need to be certificated forklift operators they are required, by law, to have received training for purposes of health and safety including training in the methods which may be adopted when using the work equipment and any risks which such use may entail and precautions to be taken.

The course covers:

• Current legislation and guidelines
• Forklift truck accidents
• Forklift truck stability
• Safe operating manoeuvres and operations
• Maintenance and pre-use checks
• Operating on ramps and slopes
• Refuelling and battery charging
• Approved Code of Practice (L117)

This is a non-accredited training programme and upon successful completion the candidates are issued with a certificate of attendance.

The course instructors all have extensive industry experience and are all ITSSAR registered instructor/examiners.

Courses can be adapted to suit your requirements.

Training Fees:

The cost is £175 per person.

We can deliver a closed course at your site or ours for a fixed fee of £500 (up to 10 candidates).

There is a supplementary charge of 45p per mile which will be made for all training conducted at a distance of more than 30 miles from our centre.
