Emergency First Aid at Work

he one day course syllabus is as approved by the Health and Safety Executive, and is designed to last for 6 hours and complies with the legal requirements of Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981. The course consists of mainly practical work in the following areas:

  • What is First Aid?
  • First Aid in the Workplace
  • Responsibilities of the First Aider
  • Action in an Emergency
  • Primary Survey
  • Secondary Assessment
  • Breathing and Circulation Disorders
  • Disorders of Respiration
  • Wounds and Bleeding

The course is suitable for persons from all workplaces.

On completion candidates will be able to demonstrate the essential knowledge and skills needed to deal with life threatening emergencies in the workplace.

Delegates will be continually assessed by their tutor throughout the course and
successful candidates will receive a certificate valid for 3 years.

 

Training Fees:

£125 per delegate (our centre)

£800 per course (customer premises) for up to 8 candidates

These prices are inclusive of all course materials and certification.

There is a supplementary charge of 45p per mile which will be made for all training conducted at a distance of more than 30 miles from our centre.
